Blocked users can now view and respond to the blocker's tweets.
Microblogging website Twitter (X) has introduced a major change in its block button, allowing blocked users to view responses from the person who blocked them.
On Twitter and other social media platforms, there is an option to block users. Once blocked, the posts of the blocked user are no longer visible.
However, under Twitter's block feature, the person who blocked someone was still able to see responses to their posts from the blocked user, even though the blocked person couldn't see them.
Change in Block Button Features
According to experts on technology websites, Twitter's experts have changed the block button features. Now, the person who is blocked can read responses from the person who blocked them.
This means that if someone writes a reply or comment on any post of the blocked user, the person who blocked them will be able to read it and respond. However, until now, neither of them could see each other's posts, but they could read sentences written for each other in any old post.
According to experts, this step was taken so that the person who is blocked can know what the other person is writing and thinking about them.
Additionally, it has been clarified by X that further changes are being made to the platform's block button, but no clarification has been given regarding further changes.
