The Use Of Skincare Products Can Be Dangerous For Children

Skincare Products Dangerous

British experts have cautioned that creams and serums designed to enhance the skin can pose significant risks for children.

According to a report from a British publication, the British Association of Dermatologists has warned that the increasing trend of using skincare products in children under 8 years old can lead to various issues.

The report highlights that creams and serums aimed at improving the skin's appearance can be extremely hazardous for children, as they may contain chemicals suitable only for adults.

Using such creams and skincare products at a young age can potentially expose children to allergies or skin diseases.

Professor Lee from the Department of Dermatology and Skin Sciences at Columbia University stated that some creams and products (such as sunscreens, moisturizers, and cleansers) are specifically designed for children because they do not contain the chemicals found in products intended for adult use.

Certain products used by adults contain collagen, a substance naturally present in the human body. However, the use of these creams is unnecessary for children.
