According to the research of the famous American University of Harvard, social media websites, applications, and streaming websites will earn a total of 11 billion dollars from advertising to minors in the year 2022.

According to the website Business Insider, the university concluded its research after looking at factors including duration of use of various platforms that various social media websites generated $11 billion in children's advertising from the US alone. 


The study found that YouTube made the most money, earning over a billion dollars for viewing content by children 12 and under and serving ads during that time.


In terms of earning money by running ads while content is viewed, Instagram came in second, while Facebook came in third.


But in terms of content viewed by kids over 13 and under 18, and in terms of ad revenue, Instagram took in a staggering $4 billion.


Platforms like TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat alone will generate $11 billion in 2022 alone in terms of running ads while viewing content by children under the age of 18 in the United States. earn


The research also revealed that some violent and inappropriate advertisements were also played by the platforms when the content of children was viewed and in this regard, lawsuits were also filed on several platforms in different states of America.
