Glasgow: It has become easier to know about the chances of a heart attack before it happens, scientists have achieved great success in the diagnosis of heart diseases. New blood tests are claimed to better diagnose other heart diseases.

According to the report of a foreign news agency, a blood test called 'Troponin' was used to evaluate the possibility of a heart attack before this. Normally, a protein called 'Troponin' is released from the blood, but its abnormal release can cause heart disease.

Experts in Scotland have claimed to have developed a better and more specific blood test for troponin, which experts claim gives better results than the first test.

According to the British Heart Foundation, experts in Scotland reviewed the data of 50,000 people who came to the emergency wards of different hospitals across the country, who came to the emergency department between 2013 and 2016 and underwent tests. These individuals had other heart disease problems including heart attacks and the specialists tested their newly prepared blood.

Later, experts took the data of all these people and followed them up and saw the level of diseases in them. Experts concluded that a new highly sensitive troponin blood test administered in emergency wards found 10,000 patients had high levels of the protein, which means they may be having a heart attack or other problems.

After the new test improved the detection of troponin levels, the drugs given to patients reduced their levels of the protein by 10%, meaning their chances of developing the disease also decreased.
