Avocado: A Natural Remedy for Metabolic Syndrome

An extensive but unique study has revealed that the fruit Avocado, commonly found in Mexico, Brazil, and African countries, helps in controlling metabolic syndrome, including blood sugar.

The fruit Avocado is of the pear family and is also available in Pakistan. It is rich in various vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for health.

According to a study published in a medical journal, experts conducted research on 28,000 individuals in countries including Mexico. The research included women as well.

The experts compared the data and health of all the participants with those who did not consume Avocado in their diet or used the fruit in very small quantities.

It was found that individuals who consume at least 30 grams of Avocado daily, despite advancing age and other issues, have lower chances of developing blood sugar problems.

Avocado Benefits Women More Than Men

The results also indicated that surprisingly Avocado fruit keeps women safer from blood sugar and metabolic syndrome compared to men.

According to experts, the presence of fiber, along with other minerals and vitamins in Avocado, makes it beneficial for health and helpful in maintaining blood circulation.

Experts stated that it is not clear why Avocado benefits women more than men, but there could be two reasons, including men smoking more and having different hormones than women.

Experts explained that men tend to smoke more, causing more changes in their bodies, whereas their hormones are different from women's, so avocados may not benefit them as much.
