Lack of Evidence Regarding Controlling Artificial Intelligence, Study Finds
A computer expert suggests no evidence regarding the control or safekeeping of artificial intelligence.
According to Roman Yemelyanovski, a Russian computer scientist affiliated with the University of Louisville in the United States, partial control over artificial intelligence will not be enough to mitigate its potential societal impacts and safeguard us.
Dr. Yemelyanovski emphasizes the need to ensure that there is no threat posed by artificial intelligence and that nothing should be overlooked. He warns that we are facing a certain scenario with complete capability to destroy human existence, making it unsurprising that it is considered the most critical issue for humanity.
Research conducted for the book on this subject did not provide Dr. Roman with any evidence that could indicate clues to solving the issues related to uncontrolled AI.
Since complete control of any AI seems improbable, it is imperative to introduce precautionary measures for artificial intelligence to make it as safe as possible.
