Introducing Blue Sky: A Platform Similar to Twitter

Blue Sky Similar to Twitter

Former Twitter Owner Collaborates to Launch Blue Sky

Former Twitter owner Jack Dorsey has teamed up with internet technology expert Jay Graber to introduce a platform called Blue Sky, reminiscent of Twitter.

Blue Sky was initially introduced for testing in April 2023 but has now been officially rolled out for all users.

Blue Sky's introduction was announced on the platform's Twitter account.

Creating an account on Blue Sky is straightforward, requiring a phone number for verification, followed by entering a code for activation.

Overview of Blue Sky Platform and Features

Similar to Twitter, Blue Sky's home and feed pages are designed similarly, allowing the use of hashtags. However, trending topics or content cannot be searched through hashtags immediately.

Blue Sky also imposes a 300-word limit for new posts, which can be shared similarly to retweets.

Blue Sky offers almost all features available on Twitter, including moderation tools, lists, following, followers, and tabs for personalized content.

It's worth noting that Jack Dorsey introduced Twitter in 2006 alongside other partners, rapidly growing into the world's most influential social media platform.

Later, in 2022, Dorsey sold Twitter to the world's wealthiest individual, Elon Musk.
