Instagram users should beware of this trend! In this digital world, it is common for new trends to come with a bang and grab consumers.
One such latest trend is on Instagram, a sub-platform of Meta, where users are sharing answers to 11 questions like age, height, date of birth, and favorite foods.
The activity may seem like fun, but a cyber security expert has warned that the 'Get to Know Me' trend could be an opportunity for hackers to take action.
In a video shared on TikTok, cyber and strategic risk analyst Ileana Shloh warned her followers about the 'Get to Know Me' trend and asked them to immediately delete videos and photos posted on the trend.
In her video, she said that she will not misrepresent; she is also a victim of this scam. As he started to answer, explaining his fear, he realized that some of the questions were answers to his security questions.
After coming up with the idea, he immediately posted a warning video on TikTok asking users to delete posts related to the trend and saying that the trend could be a rich opportunity for cybercriminals.
On the other hand, users have accused Eliana of making a mountain of rye because the answers given by these users have nothing to do with their password or security questions.
