The Stunning Real Colors of Two Planets in Our Solar System

Real Colors of Two Planets

The real colors of the two Planets in the solar system have been revealed. Research led by British astronomers has revealed that the colors of the planets Neptune and Uranus in the solar system are not what we have long believed.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, images from a space mission in the 1980s showed Neptune in blue and Uranus in green.

But a study has revealed that the two giant ice planets are greenish-blue in color.

Astronomers have known for a long time that the colors they see in images of the two planets are not their true colors, according to Professor Patrick Irwin of the University of Oxford, in research published in the Monthly of the RAS.

In a recent study, researchers used data from the Hubble Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph and the Multi-Unit Spectroscopic Explorer on the European Southern Observatory's telescope.

Research has shown that Uranus and Neptune have the same greenish-blue color, but Neptune has a slightly darker blue.

The study also found that Uranus appears green when one of its poles is toward the sun in summer and winter, but blue when the sun is at the equator during spring and fall.
