According to a recent study, individuals who utilize hearing aids are at a decreased risk of premature mortality.

Based on recent research, individuals who suffer from hearing impairments and employ hearing aids in moderation experience a significant decrease in the likelihood of premature mortality when compared to those who do not use them.

The study, which was published in The Lancet Healthy Longevity journal, examined the data of a substantial sample size comprising 10,000 individuals, out of which over 1,800 participants were specifically selected due to their hearing impairments, as reported by various media outlets.

The findings of the study revealed that individuals who used the device on a sporadic basis or not at all were more likely to experience premature mortality compared to those who consistently utilized the device. Dr. The percentage decreases conveyed that individuals who made regular use of hearing aids faced a staggering 24-fold higher risk of early death.

Additionally, the research findings indicate that the decrease in risk remained consistent regardless of various demographic factors such as age, race, income level, educational background, previous medical conditions, and the extent of hearing impairments.
