Tech giant Google is introducing a new photo feature for Android users that will help organize images and keep phones clutter-free.
Named "Photo Stacks," this feature creates small albums based on the time a picture was taken, allowing for easy organization of images taken at the same time.
Photo Stacks similarly arranges images to how Apple's Photo app filters images for the "For You" section.
According to Google, users can group up to 100 images together using the app. However, users need to back up the photos before utilizing the Photo Stacks feature to organize images. This feature will not work directly on stored images on the phone.
Currently available for iPhone users and some Android users, like Pixel phone users, Google is planning to introduce this feature on a broader scale for Android phones.
When this feature is added to the Google Photos app for Android users, a pop-up window will notify them about the availability of this feature.
