Getting Rid Of Smoking Habit

Getting Rid Of Smoking Habit Is Easy, Doctors Told The Solution: If you are also vowing to get rid of smoking in this new year 2024, then the good news is that doctors say that by taking a drug called cytisine, a person can be twice as successful in ending the habit of smoking.

Quitting smoking is difficult but not impossible. Many people in the world try to quit this bad habit, but the strong demand for nicotine makes them unable to do so.

Although many people use vaping (electronic or e-cigarettes) to quit smoking, doctors in Argentina have discovered a drug called cytisine that can help slowly end nicotine cravings.

A naturally occurring substance found in the seeds of laburnum, it has been researched by doctors to help people quit smoking.

This research has been done by Argentine doctors, the results of which have been published in the journal Addiction.

Cytisine has been used in Central and Eastern Europe for many years, although it is not available in most countries, including the US. It will be available eventually; however, this drug is not yet available in Pakistan.

Researchers in Argentina analyzed 12 controlled trials, comparing the success rates of smokers who used cytisine, placebo, and varenicline.

The researchers found that cytisine was twice as effective as other drugs in helping people quit smoking.

Despite a significant reduction in smoking in the UK over the past 50 years, it is the leading cause of death for many people. According to the Royal Society for Public Health, around 100,000 people die from smoking each year in the UK.

Additionally, a study led by Oxford University found that e-cigarettes and cytisine helped nearly 14 out of 100 people quit smoking.
