Jewish religious leader (Rabbi) Yisroel David said that the Israeli oppression in Gaza has nothing to do with Judaism or Islam. He said that those who recognize Israel today will consider it a criminal state for its atrocities on Palestinians.
He was addressing the European Forum of NGOs after arriving in Istanbul from New York. During a conference in Istanbul, there was an opportunity to see inter-faith harmony and solidarity with the Palestinians when a mufti, a priest and a Jewish rabbi expressed solidarity with the Palestinians on behalf of their respective religions and called for 'free Palestine'.
The conference was organized by the European Summit on Palestine and during the conference highlighted Israel's crimes and demanded the establishment of a sovereign, independent Palestinian state.
On this occasion, Rabbi Yisroel Davidweiss, dressed in his traditional Jewish dress, strongly condemned the mass killing of Palestinians by the Zionist state and said that its purpose is to lower Palestinians below the level of humanity.
Rabbi Weiss, who also wore a Palestinian kifa to express solidarity with the Palestinians, came to Istanbul from New York to attend the conference. He said that Israeli atrocities have nothing to do with Judaism or Islam.
