Anup Ghosal, Passed Away: The Singer of 'Tuj Se Naraz Nahi Zindagi'
Anup Ghosal, who lent his voice to the Bollywood industry's most popular song 'Tujse Naraz Nahi Zindagi Hiran Hoon Main', passed away in Kolkata at the age of 77.
According to Indian media report, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed her condolences on his death.
Anoop Ghosal was a Bengali singer, who rose to fame with the song 'Teh Se Ansari Nahi Zindagi Hiran Hoon' from the 1983 film Masoom.
He was also eulogized by Satyajit Roy's music based songs.He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Kolkata for the past several days, multiple organ failure led to his death.He is survived by 2 daughters.
Anup Ghosal contested the West Bengal Assembly elections in 2011 and was declared successful on a Tirmul Congress ticket.
Expressing deep grief over his death, Mamata Banerjee condoled the bereaved and said Anoop Ghosal had sung many songs in Bengali, Hindi and other languages.
